Tried (and really tested)

We carry out three rounds of third-party testing for all our products as standard. The formulation for our supplement has been clinically proven in many previous trials, too.

Third-party testing

Our products are put through their paces in third-party laboratories with no incentives to get ‘good’ results. We test against other leading brands, so you can be confident in switching over.

Community-testing

Real women living with bladder weakness test our products before anyone else. We ask everyone to live normally – exercising, travelling, dancing – so we can see what works.

Always improving

If it’s not ‘life-changing’, it’s not good enough. Our products have been through many rounds of improvements based on the results of our testing – true co-creation from start to finish.

Backed by doctors and scientists

The formulation for our supplement has been clinically proven in many previous trials, too.

The science behind our supplements

Our unique formulation has been tested in laboratory trials to determine how it works and its efficacy, as well as in three clinical trials involving people with bladder weakness or bladder incontinence.

Our (proven) ingredients

Our supplements are made with two powerful natural ingredients, both proven to improve bladder strength.

Pumpkin Seed Extract

What is it? Medicinal pumpkin, also known as Cucurbita pepo L, has been used for centuries as a natural remedy for urinary problems. More recently, the health benefits of pumpkin seeds have also been studied – including for lower urinary tract symptoms, stress incontinence and overactive bladder syndrome.

What do we use? Jude Bladder Strength Supplements contain a water-soluble pumpkin seed special extract, containing vitamin B, soluble fibre, iron, zinc, protein, phosphorous, magnesium and manganese. Our patented extraction process is heat-free, helping to protect the active ingredients as they’re captured and ultimately making the extract easier to digest.

Soy Germ Extract

What is it? During the menopause, the loss of both oestrogen and testosterone can impact the pelvic floor muscles and contribute to bladder leaks. Soy germ extract contains isoflavones which are a class of phytoestrogens. These can exert weak oestrogenic or anti-oestrogenic effects in the body – essentially helping to balance oestrogen levels. Studies have shown the benefits of soy germ extract to women of all ages – particularly during perimenopause and postmenopause.

What do we use? Jude Bladder Strength Supplements contain a standardised dose of isoflavones, as well as other phytonutrients including calcium and iron.

How our supplements work

Studies have shown that special pumpkin seed extract and soy germ isoflavones have two modes of action when it comes to supporting a healthy bladder:

The first is hormonal, through anabolic action which results in muscle strengthening – in particular, the pelvic floor. The second is a direct relaxing effect (mediated through the muscle relaxant nitric oxide) on bladder muscles, which reduces the frequency of urination in people with urge incontinence / overactive bladder syndrome.

Both soy germ isoflavones and pumpkin seed extract inhibit the conversion of testosterone to di-hydrotestosterone. This means there’s more active testosterone, which can provide anabolic effects to support the strength of the pelvic floor muscles.
