Urgency

Both aging and lower oestrogen can make our bladder muscles more sensitive and easily triggered. This can mean more frequent bathroom trips or sudden urges that catch you off guard.

How Jude Helps

Soothe and calm bladder overactivity.

Restore bladder control and strength.

Reduce frequent gotta-go feeling.

Targeted Ingredients for Targeted Benefits

Strengthens, calms, and protects your bladder
Pumpkin Seed Extract (540mg)
  • Promotes nitric oxide production, relaxing smooth muscle tissue in the bladder wall, reducing overactive bladder responses.

  • Naturally rich in tryptophan, an amino acid essential for producing serotonin and melatonin—neurotransmitters that support restful sleep and reduce nighttime awakenings.

  • Provides B vitamins, iron, and zinc, essential nutrients that support overall bladder function and control.

Gentle hormonal tune-up for your urinary system
Soy Germ Extract (77mg)
  • Contains isoflavones that mimic oestrogen’s effects, selectively activating oestrogen receptors in the lower urinary tract, helping maintain bladder wall strength and pelvic floor tone.

  • Supports collagen and elastin fibres in the bladder, enhancing structural integrity, which is crucial for managing urgency and stress-related leaks.

  • Helps compensate for menopause-related oestrogen loss, reducing bladder sensitivity and improving muscle tone.

Is Jude right for me?

Check how Jude Supplements interact with your medication or health condition.

Jude and HRT

The phytoestrogens in soy germ extract, like those in our supplements, are plant-derived oestrogen's which are different from the oestrogen's used in HRT. Our supplements contain soy amounts that do not exceed typical dietary recommendations with each tablet of Jude supplement containing 15mg of isoflavones (equivalent to 60mg of tofu).

Studies have shown that phytoestrogens and HRT can often be complementary. Phytoestrogens, found in plants like soy, mimic oestrogen and can complement Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT) by balancing hormone levels and potentially reducing side effects. A study published in "Menopause" (2010) found that phytoestrogens, when combined with HRT, improved menopausal symptom relief and offered additional health benefits. However, studies alone cannot be used to determine whether you should take a supplement, you should always consult a healthcare provider before combining treatments.

Diuretics

If you're using diuretics, which increase urination, Jude supplements may counteract their effect as they are designed to support those wishing to reduce urinary frequency. Consult your GP before taking any supplements.

Levothyroxine & Hypothyroidism Considerations

If you need to avoid soy products due to hypothyroidism, our supplement may not be suitable. Soy can impair the absorption of levothyroxine, potentially reducing its effectiveness. To avoid interactions, it’s advisable to take levothyroxine and soy products at different times or avoid soy entirely. We strongly recommend consulting your GP or endocrinologist before adding any new dietary supplement.

High Blood Pressure

If you are taking medication for high blood pressure, please consult your GP before introducing any new supplements.

Interstitial Cystitis and UTIs

Our supplement is not designed to address interstitial cystitis or urinary tract infections (UTIs). Interstitial cystitis is distinct from overactive bladder and has not been the focus of our supplement’s formulation, which specifically targets symptoms of overactive bladder, urge incontinence and stress incontinence. Similarly, it is not intended to treat UTIs, cystitis, or post-cystitis recovery.

Please consult your GP or a urologist for personalised advice.

Endometriosis

Unfortunately, we do not recommend Jude supplements for those with a history of endometriosis due to the soy phytoestrogen content. However, please consult your GP for advice based on your individual health circumstances.

Breast Cancer and Jude

When it comes to your personal health, particularly when it relates to cancer, you must always seek advice from your GP or oncologist as they know your medical history best and you must not take any additional supplements without their explicit advice.

Generally speaking, lots of current research is supportive of the inclusion of soy foods in the diet of those who have survived cancer.

Despite this, the Jude supplement has not specifically been tested in patients with breast cancer. If you have a history of breast cancer, you must consult with your GP or oncologist before taking any new dietary or health supplements as they will be able to advise you based on your specific case history.

Prolapse

The Jude supplement is not intended and has not been specifically tested on individuals with any form of prolapse. Rather, it is suitable if you experience leakage during activities like coughing, sneezing or exercising (known as stress incontinence) or struggle with significant urgency - which can of course happen alongside prolapse.

Pregnancy

Our product hasn't undergone specific testing on pregnant women in clinical trials. However, in general, soy consumption during pregnancy is deemed safe in moderation—typically one or two servings. With each tablet of Jude supplement containing 15mg of isoflavones (equivalent to 60mg of tofu), taking two tablets a day aligns with this safe soy threshold. However, with that being said, we prefer to err on the side of caution and we do not recommend pregnant or breastfeeding women to take the Jude supplement. We would always recommend that you consult with their doctor, midwife, or specialist before introducing a new supplement or medication.

Diabetes

Some studies indicate that incorporating phytoestrogens and pumpkin seeds into the diet may offer benefits for individuals with diabetes. However, further research is required. It is important to consult your diabetes specialist or GP before introducing any new supplements.

Side Effects

Most people who take the supplement do not experience side effects. That being said, if you are allergic to soy (one of our key active ingredients), you may experience mild GI discomfort such as bloating.
